July Expenses 2020

Hello, everyone!

I am Jerry, the author of this blog!

The second and third wave of virus is still on-going. My company allows me to work from home 4 days/ week. I only need to go to office once a week.

Anyways, here comes the expenses of July:

Money for my family and GF: $17444.4

Food& Beverages: $532

Transportation: $187.8

Phone: $399.25

Personal growth: $496.67

Miscellaneous: $2561.9

TOTAL: $21622.02

I didn't spend any money on entertainments or games this month. Well done, Jerry! Yet, I paid for the dinner of my family gathering which cost me around $2000. I think this money is well spent. Everyone, especially my grandma, was happy that night. Other expenses were low because I stayed at home most of the time this month.

What about you? How much did you spend in July? Please let me know by commenting below! See you next time!

Monthly Investment Plan - US stocks 8/8/2020

I didn't update this part of my portfolio for a long time because I didn't invest any of my money until a recent time. I did some trading. I won some money and lost some money. Then I realise trading stocks is not really my thing. It is exciting, but it hurts my mind and hard-earned capitals. Therefore, I restarted this long term investment plan. You can see the portfolio now is more balanced. I plan to have more tech ETF and precious metal ETFs later, but I will stop contribute to VOO since I am contributing 3140 in the HK stock market. I hope this portfolio will bring me average 10% capital gain every year in the long run.

Monthly Investment Plan - HK stocks 8/8/2020

I read some articles and watched some videos about the future of the world. Though I still believe the price of the property stocks will rise again in the future, they cannot compete with those tech stocks. Therefore, I sold 823 last month. I will keep contribute to 435, 12, 16 and 2800 until I collected a whole lot of shares. Then I will sell them when their price reach a certain level. As for 3140, I will keep contributing since it represents the US part of my portfolio.
