Since my eczema and back pain is under control, I spent much less on seeing doctors and Chinese medicine practitioners. Good health is so expensive!

I will expect the expenses of December will be the average of these four months. Let's see!

June Expenses 2021

Another all-time high this month. I went to have a MRI of my lower spine and started seeing Chinese Medicine Practitioner. My back was getting better slowly. It is likely I will continue to see CMP for the coming two months. Hope my expenses will go down next month.

My expense this month went down a bit, but the expense on food went up a lot. It's because I bought dinner for friends and family sometimes, and I bought a lot of Taiwan style tea! I should drink less next month!

New year. New start. My 2021 dream is to go abroad and meet my girlfriend. I hope the pandemic will disappear soon!

My monthly expenses went down a lot because I stop supporting my girlfriend financially. Yet, the biggest expense is the household product as the core of the water purifier at home ran out so I bought a new one. Other expenses are within normal limits.

Finally, the nightmare-like 2020 was gone. Here comes 2021! Happy new year!

My monthly expenses went down a little bit this month because I worked from home again. There was little money spent on transport and eating out. And I finally found a way to reduce my phone bill! Minus the money I gave to my girlfriend and my family, I only spent around $3000 this month. I will try my best to keep the expense as low as possible in the coming year.

The 4th wave of the pandemic has arrived. When I wrote this piece of blog, I was having my first day of WFH. How long will this WFH last time? I really have no clues.

The pandemic is still with us in HK, but the situation is much better compared with that of last month. I stayed at home for work 3 days per week.

I didn't spend any money on entertainments or games this month. Well done, Jerry! Yet, I paid for the dinner of my family gathering which cost me around $2000. I think this money is well spent. Everyone, especially my grandma, was happy that night. Other expenses were low because I stayed at home most of the time this month.

I tried hard to keep my expenses as low as possible. The largest spending is still the financial support to my family and girlfriend. I cannot cut this part as I treasure them as much as I treasure myself. The only redundant part is those spending related mobile games which cost me around $160.

The money I spent is much more than before. Because of the pandemic, my family and GF's finance has some changes so I decided to provide some financial helps to them. Other expenses are well controlled. The iPhone and the clothes are the birthday gift I bought myself. These things contribute to a better QoL. My old iPhone was somewhat broken and my clothes were worn out to some degree.

It is a very well-controlled expenses as it only costs me around 30% of my salary. Plus, I have done a few freelance jobs in April. Therefore, the saving rate should be near 80% this month. Very impressive!

My expense is similar to that of last month because the pandemic stops many social activities so I only spent the basic money. I predict my expense of the following months will be similar as I cannot see the pandemic will end soon. At the moment, it is important to keep my job and focus on saving money.
